Michael assists his clients to have more clarity on themselves, more clarity on the world, and more clarity on themselves in the world.

Michael provides a compassionate, non-judgmental, and sex-positive space for individuals and couples (ages 17+), including LGBTQ+ clients, to explore and strengthen their connections. His primary emphasis lies in couples counselling and anxiety management. Michael helps individuals and partners navigate communication challenges, rebuild trust, deepen emotional and physical intimacy, resolve conflicts, and foster secure, reciprocal relationships.

Michael skilfully blends evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for practical anxiety reduction and problem-solving skills, Existential Therapy to explore meaning, purpose, identity, and life’s deeper questions, Sexology for intimacy-focused work, and Solution-Focused Therapy to build actionable strategies. This integrative style empowers clients to develop tools for managing generalized anxiety (including worry, rumination, and physical symptoms), enhancing self-esteem and self-worth, setting healthy boundaries, improving assertive communication, and confronting existential concerns like isolation, freedom, authenticity, and the search for fulfilment.

With a unique background that includes a Business School education in Marketing and Finance, leadership roles in high-tech industries, and clinical experience at a university Counselling Centre, Women’s Shelter, and Rape Crisis Centre, Michael relates deeply to professionals facing work-related stress, burnout, life transitions, and the intersection of career demands with personal relationships. His supportive yet direct approach helps clients feel truly seen, valued, and equipped with lasting skills for resilience, self-acceptance, and vibrant connections.

Clients often seek Michael’s expertise for anxiety management and elimination, creating and increasing self-esteem, strategic problem-solving, and raises profound existential questions about intimacy and purpose. Through collaborative couples work and individual support, he guides the journey toward reduced anxiety, stronger self-confidence, healthier dynamics, and more meaningful, authentic relationships — both with others and within oneself.
