Claire brings a deep understanding of the immense pressures inherent in Hong Kong’s fast-paced environment. She recognizes that the constant drive to meet high expectations—professionally, academically, and personally—can be exhausting and isolating. Claire provides a confidential, non-judgmental space for clients to navigate these challenges without having to do it alone.

Claire’s therapeutic perspective is shaped by over 30 years in demanding corporate roles within global financial and professional services, with extensive experience working across Asia and Europe. This background, combined with her leadership in corporate Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and her board role at the Women’s Foundation, gives her a practical and nuanced understanding of the interplay between professional demands, cultural context, and individual wellbeing.

Alongside her work with professionals, Claire is passionate about supporting young people. This commitment is informed by her current counselling placement at a leading international school, where she works directly with students navigating academic and social challenges. This professional experience is complemented by her personal insight as a mother to a teenager, giving her a unique empathy for the developmental pressures and family dynamics that adolescents face today.

Claire approach is collaborative, person-centred, and strengths-based. She integrates evidence-based therapies like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), to help clients unhook from unhelpful thought patterns, build emotional resilience, and develop practical strategies not just to cope, but to thrive. Her focus is always on empowering clients to recognize and harness their own strengths to create lasting change.

Claire is dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and affirming space for a diverse range of clients, including:

  • Professionals navigating work stress, burnout, or imposter syndrome.
  • Students (ages 12+) managing academic and social pressures.
  • Individuals seeking support for anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem.
  • LGBTQ+ clients looking for understanding and affirming therapeutic relationship.

Ultimately, Claire’s goal is to help clients resolve personal challenges and move toward a more fulfilling and balanced life. She believes that with the right support, every individual has the capacity for meaningful growth and positive change.
