Dr. Ching is a UK trained Clinical Psychologist, offering support to adults with difficulties around anxiety, low mood, stress and burnout, self-esteem, childhood or event specific trauma, interpersonal relationships, and life adjustments (e.g. relocation, grief, chronic physical health, third culture kids). She also has experience with individuals with emotional dysregulation and high sensitivity (HSP).

Born in Hong Kong and raised in various countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom, she uses her personal narratives and experiences of relocation and adjustment to form connections with her clients. She has over ten years of experience working in both the public (NHS) and private mental health sectors in London. Her roles ranged from direct clinical work to supervision with teams from A&E (accident and emergency) acute and crisis teams, community mental health teams, outpatient and inpatient settings. She had worked with individuals and families from different cultures, backgrounds, and languages.

You may find yourself stuck in repeated patterns of thoughts, behaviours and/or relationships. This can look like ‘I am not good enough’, ‘Why is this happening again?’, ‘What’s the point?’. Dr. Ching’s sessions can offer a space to understand and slowly untangle these cycles, building towards a life aligned with your core values and goals. The sessions will be guided by what you feel are important and meaningful to you. The journey will combine your experience together with Dr Ching’s professional knowledge in the area and scientific-based measures and tools.

Drawing on various psychological schools of thoughts, she adopts an integrative approach tailored to individual needs. Specific approaches Dr Ching adopts are not limited to mindfulness, Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), Dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), Compassion focused therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative exposure therapy (NET).
