3 Daily Things To Do That Will Keep the Love Alive

Keeping Love Alive In Relationships

Do you feel that your relationship has shifted recently? Are you feeling a “blockage” in connecting with your partner? How can you reconnect better with him or her and strengthen that bond between the two of you again?

1. A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY
Putting aside a little bit of time for you and your partner each day will go a long way. Making time for him or her requires you to be 100% present. Put away your newspaper, magazine, phone, iPad or laptop and make an effort to stay truly present.

2. LISTEN WITH CURIOSITY
Think about the time the two of you first met. How did you listen to what each other had to say? Did you ask curious questions when your partner tried to tell you something? Next time, try to refrain from giving advice right away but be genuinely curious while you are listening to your partner.

3. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
If you’ve recently felt a shift in your relationship, rebuild and strengthen your bond by showing your partner how much you appreciate him or her. Show your partner fondness and admiration. Send them small love notes or love letters, take them out on a date, cook something special with them. Whatever the action is, make sure you let your partner know how wonderful and amazing he or she is to you.
